DIY: Repainting

DIY: Repainting

Hello everyone! It has been a while. I miss being here, I like the fact that WordPress really makes my brain works. I am sorry. I have been very busy the past few weeks, from family gathering, to  work stuff, to another family gathering, to house chores/projects and to another family gathering and to another one; non-stop family gathering. Hehe. And there’s so much more coming. Gosh! My calendar is full. Hopefully, I will be able to share family gathering pieces soon, I am still in the process of deciding on what photos to share, there are so many— way too many photos. And I haven’t figured how I am going to present it to all of you. Soon! Soon! But now, I am going to share one of the things I have been busy with lately.

House project. For a while I was thinking of repainting one of the walls in the house. Even if I am not really good with color combinations and interior designing. I don’t care. I want to have some fun, at least that’s what I thought. After days, weeks and months of contemplating which part of the house I will repaint, I chose the bathroom. Why? Because it is small and if it turns out ugly then it wouldn’t be that bad. Good choice? 🙂

The color. Honestly, I don’t want to discuss this. Haha. I am bad at it, not my forte. By the way, thanks to all the ideas shared by my friends, work mates and my robot love. It was indeed very helpful.

Shopping. I went to Ace Hardware yesterday to shop all the things I needed, from paint down to brushes. And I bought some new stuff for the bathroom too. Shopping was fun until the time I had to decide which color to pick. Hehe. Anyways, here’s what I got:

  • Island Paint (2L) – Blue Vacation (color)
  • Roller Set (includes paint container)
  • 3″ Brush
  • Sandpaper
  • Newspaper

The job. I started and finished it today. It is my first time and I feel like a PRO. Yay! It was messy and a bit tiring but I had fun. I want to sleep now. Wait, photos coming up!

The photos. You’ll be the judge now!

What do you think? 🙂 Well, leave some comments.

I got to go. I need to rest. I have to go to work in a few hours, tight schedule. See you tomorrow!

I miss you all,
