State ID Application
+ MAR 30, 2015: Applied for State ID
+ APR 10, 2015: Second visit to DMV but still not cleared for State ID processing.
+ JUL 29, 2015: Visited DHS to check on my status as I was told by DMV that they still can’t validate my information. I was told that I need to wait for my AOS application to finish before I can process my state ID.
+ DEC 15, 2015: Visited DMV, re-submitted my state ID application. Finally, approved. Was advised to wait 10 days for my ID card.
+ DEC 27, 2015: Received my state ID card in the mail.

+ FEB 27, 2015: AOS/EAD/AP packet delivered to USCIS.
+ MAR 10, 2015: Got I-797 in the mail.
+ MAR 13, 2015: Received I-797c in the mail. Biometrics appointment schedule.
+ MAR 27, 2015: Finished biometrics.
+ MAY 11, 2015: EAD/AP approved, got an email notification.
+ MAY 12, 2015: Combo card in production, got an email notification
+ MAY 18, 2015: Combo card mailed, got an email notification.
+ MAY 29, 2015: Got my combo card in the mail.
+ JUN 1, 2015: Started applying for jobs.
+ JUL 13, 2015: Got hired and working in an office.
+ AUG 10, 2015: Received my I-485 interview schedule.
+ AUG 11, 2015: Requested to reschedule the interview because the husband was about to fly to San Francisco for business.
+ AUG 17, 2015: Got a request letter from DHS to submit proof of husband’s business trip. But husband was able to change his flight schedule, so we decided to just go to the original schedule.
+ SEPT 14, 2015: AOS Interview Day. Approved! 🙂
+ SEPT 19, 2015: Got a mail from USCIS that my AOS application has been approved and card will arrive in 3 weeks.
+ SEPT 22, 2015: Got my green card in the mail. Time to process my state ID. Wohooo!
