First Weekend in Oregon

Hi! I haven’t posted anything since I left the Philippines. Disaster! I have been busy and lazy at the same time in PH. Mostly, BUSY! 😛 Well, what’s important is I am here now and I will be engaged in this blog more often than before. Exciting! 😉

I arrived Christmas Day in Oregon, and yes I had two Christmas Day this year. Amazing, right?! 🙂 Eventhough I was traveling most of the time, still, it felt weird to be in the same day in two different days. If that makes any sense, hahaha. The magic of time difference. 😀 COOL & WEIRD!

Anyway, I wanted to share with you how my first weekend in Oregon was.

FRIDAY.

Shopping for warm clothing. A must!!! I badly needed it. I experienced being cold from where I came from but this part of the world has a different definition of COLD. Layers, layers, layers. And more layers. Haha! 🙂

Here we are, finally closed the distance. @ The Streets.

Then we had lunch with our old friend, Chris. We had pizza and hot chicken wings (boneless).

Then spent the rest of the afternoon shopping, we thought I needed more warm clothing at home.

SATURDAY.

Met Brian’s boys for the first time in person, (we’ve met in Skype many times for the last 4 years or so). They’ve grown so fast, such lovely young gentlemen. They opened their Christmas presents from family. It was fun and it was nice to see the three of them together. <3

Then groceries and shopping for more warm house clothes.

SUNDAY.

The most interesting part, the other side of the Pacific Ocean. Brian will take me to the beach. Yay!? @.@

Since I just got here and didn’t really know how it would be like, I was curios. One thing I know for sure was? No swimwear in this cold weather. Haha! 😀

For the first time I dressed up like this in the beach. All covered up.

  1. I’ve been on a bit of a blog vacation and just got back. Imagine my surprise to read that you finally moved! I know it’s weird because we don’t really know each other, but since I’ve been in your position I hope you know that I mean it when I say I’m truly happy for you two! May your life in the US be filled with happiness! 🙂

    1. Thank you Andrea! I’m adjusting to the weather, it is very cold in this part of the world. Where I came from is always sunny and warm. Hehe. Thanks again! 😉
