I’m so excited to share my very well made cowl scarf. The pattern is free from tricksy knitter and the sport weight yarn I got from For Yarn’s Sake yarn shop were pretty neat and very soft. It was a bit expensive though but it’s so worth it. 🙂
Without further ado, here’s the graphite botanical cowl scarf made by yours truly.
Lovely, isn’t it? 😉
Take a closer look of the pattern. What do you think? New stitches I learned in this project is SSK and Double Yarn Over. When I first read the pattern, those two stitches sounded so difficult but when I was actually doing it, no sweat! It was very easy. Thanks to YouTube tutorials!
I so love knitting in rounds. And lately I have been addicted to knitting cowl scarves. Some time in the future, if there’ll be too many, I may start donating my old ones. Or maybe I will make more scarves and sell them. Sounds like a GOOD PLAN? 😉
Botanical Cowl Scarf Details: 1.5 skeins of Swans Island (50g sport weight) Yarn from For Yarn’s Sake, Yarn Color: Graphite, Knitter’s Pride Knitting Needles, Size 6 24″ circular knitting needles, stitch markers.
And before I went to bed last night, I “casted” on a new cowl scarf, another pattern! I guess by now, you are probably convinced that I am addicted to making cowl scarves. Haha!
I should get back to my knitting. Follow me on Instagram for daily tidbits.
And please subscribe to my blog, that would really make my day! 😉
